Airport Workers Strike at LAX
Airport workers participated in a May Day strike at Los Angeles International Tuesday to what they consider to be unfair labor practices.
The strike involved LAX airport workers, L.A. labor unions, community members and religious leaders, reports KTLA.
Protestors arrived at LAX at 3:00am to commence protesting and picketed throughout the day. About 1,200 people participated.
The strike was organized by Service Employees Union International-United Service Workers West, and was part of a number of protests that were held throughout the city Tuesday in conjunction with the May Day General Strike.
