President Obama Signs JOBS Act, Potential Game Changer for Small Business
President Barack Obama signed the Jumpstart Our Business Start-ups (JOBS) Act, Thursday in the Rose Garden of the White House. The JOBS Act includes key initiatives the President proposed last fall to help small businesses and start-ups grow and create jobs.
In recognizing the critical role high-growth start-ups and innovative entrepreneurs play in creating and building a lasting economy, the President put forward a series of specific proposals to ease regulations that prevent entrepreneurs from accessing the capital they need to grow and create jobs.
The President put many of those proposals to work when he signed into law the bipartisan bill that will help encourage start-ups and support American small businesses, thus creating job growth.
Americans will now be able to go online and invest in small businesses and entrepreneurs. This will help new businesses to expand and speed up hiring, improving the US economy.
