Unsurprisingly, yet another top executive departs internet giant Yahoo! as the Company is preparing large-scale layoffs and a massive restructuring.

Citing unnamed sources in an article Monday, All Things D said Luke Beatty, a high-level executive will be leaving the Company.

Beatty founded Associated Content – now called Yahoo Contributor Network, which has been integrated into the media offerings at Yahoo. The Company bought Associated Content several years ago for $90 million.

The situation at Yahoo! has been tense as the Company is rumored to be undergoing massive restructuring in order to target areas in which the company has been seen to have faltered.

CEO Scott Thompson hired Boston Consulting Group to help focus on Yahoo’s development and growth.
