Obama Tops Romney in Latest Poll
Mitt Romney achieved his biggest win yet in the Nevada caucuses this weekend to secure his hold in the Republican Nomination; however a new ABC News/Washington Post Poll out today shows he has his work cut out for him against Obama. For the first time, President Obama has opened up a clear lead against Romney.
The poll shows a significant come back by Obama, as he received the highest job approval rating in a year. President Obama received 51 percent of the vote in regards to his job approval rating while Romney received 45 percent of the vote.
When polled on who to trust on taxes, a leading economic indicator in terms of polls, Obama, up 10 points, received 52 percent of the vote while Romney received 42 percent of the vote.
When polled on whether or not Romney is paying his fair share in taxes, 66 percent of the American people said no, while 30 percent said yes.
It appears as though the more people hear about Mitt Romney the more they don’t like.
