Study: Women Think about Sex 34 Times a Day – At Work!
Women think about sex 34 times in an average work day – 34 times!! To be clear, that equates to once every 14 minutes.
The results were revealed in a survey; by the internet site Dating Direct, which quizzed 1,000 women about their level of sexual satisfaction.
These results were perhaps less surprising than you may think; given that, according to the survey, 1 in 3 women complained about their lack of action, so to speak, between the sheets. In addition, almost half of the women said that they were dissatisfied with their sex life, thus prompting them to think about sex while at work.
With 7 in 10 women spending up to an hour a day on sexy little fantasies, let’s just say that lust is not just an instantaneous and brief thought.
Aside from current partners, celebrities were the most common fantasy figures, closely followed by strangers who women may have noticed and former lovers.
About 53 percent of the women admitted to having a crush on someone at work, while 36 percent said that every girl should have an “office object of affection” to help pass the hours at work. Furthermore, more than 1 in 3 single women confessed to having someone they can call for no-strings-attached sex.
Unrelated to work, but very interesting – the same survey also found that their minds tend to wander at the most inappropriate times – with 40 percent of women fantasizing about someone else while in bed with their partner. Seven percent of women actually admitted to calling out another persons name during sex.
“Traditionally, it’s always been men who are associated with constantly thinking about sex. This research shows women know exactly what they want in the bedroom and they are as passionate, if not more so, than men,” said Alistair Shrimpton, head of Dating Direct.
